White Tiger System
Many claim to know the teachings of the White Tiger system, but there are only a handful of people in North America who truly know its full power. Grand Master Piercey is one such person. Since the mid ‘80s he’s been teaching White Tiger, making him one of the first people in Alberta to bestow the system’s knowledge on pupils. Grand Master Piercey himself learned White Tiger under one of the most influential practitioners of the style on our continent, and the first individual to ever introduce it in Canada: Grand Master O.E. Simon. What separates White Tiger from other systems is its moves and philosophy.
White Tiger is a potent and powerful system that requires a student to have a solid foundation and understanding of the basics before they embark upon learning it. It is extremely hard on the body and students must be properly prepared for the rigors White Tiger brings with it. It is not taught publicly, and students must attend classes at Kung Fu for Life for a good amount of time before they earn the trust of Grand Master Piercey and those who will pass along this coveted knowledge. Therefore, White Tiger is a closed system whose roots are traced back to the ancient honour system and carried forward from one generation to the next. Though he’s seen bits and pieces of this system throughout his martial arts career from other practitioners, Grand Master Piercey has never come across someone who possesses the full system as he knows it.
