Kung Fu for Life | FAQs
Here at Kung Fu For Life we often get a lot of questions related to what we do and how you can participate. We decided to put together a quick Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section for you all with some of the recurring questions we get asked.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We make custom training programs, meaning that the cost will be dependent on the type of training program that you enter into. The best way for us to know what you want/need in the art is for us to meet and have a personal interview. We will setup a program according to your budget and schedule. Please call 4032435433 for appointment. |

Q: What if I have an injury?
A: We make customized personal programs. Our programs will enable you to work around almost any injury. This varies from person to person but almost everyone can learn Kung Fu at our school. |
|
Q: What style do you train?
A: The style we train here at Kung Fu for Life is a blend of Northern and Southern Shaolin Martial Arts, and a combination of the five main animals styles of the Shaolin: Tiger, Panther, Snake, Crane, and Dragon. |
|
Q: Do you train weapons?
A: Yes, we train in bo staff and two-edged sword. |
|
Q: How old do you have to be to train?
A: We usually start training children as young as eight years old. |
|
Q: Do you compete?
A: No, we do not engage in tournaments. Q: Why don't you engage in tournaments? A: It dilutes the art. Many ancient Kung Fu techniques were designed to defend against the cruelest attackers rather than for good-natured sports competition. If we focus on techniques for competition, many effective ancient martial arts techniques would fall to the wayside and leave our students less capable to deal with violent situations.
